TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed a prospective, observational cohort study of term, singleton pregnancies admitted with planned vaginal delivery in 2019 at a university medical center, where the primary outcome was the mean lactate level following delivery and secondary outcomes were the lactate and procalcitonin levels at other time points.

TL;DR: Second-trimester growth velocity for the four major anatomic parameters was overall similar between twins and singletons and between monochorionic and dichorionic twins, supporting the use of singleton-derived growth standards with IGA.
