Investigation of the Antiasthmatic Properties of Ethanol Extract of Callophyllis japonica in Mice
Won Sun Park,Kyung Soo Lee,Jin Ho Chun,Sang Hwa Urm,Dae Sung Lee,Da-Young Lee,Sae-Gwang Park,Su-Kil Seo,Soo-Jin Heo,Zhong-Ji Qian,Won-Kyo Jung,Il-Whan Choi +11 more
TL;DR: Evidence is provided that CJE plays a critical role in the amelioration of the pathogenetic process of allergic asthma in mice, and markedly alleviates all indices of airway inflammation.
Antifibrosis Efficacy of Apo-9-Fucoxanthinone-Contained Sargassum horneri Ethanol Extract on Nasal Polyp: An In Vitro and Ex Vivo Organ Culture Assay
Mi-Jin Yim,Jeong Min Lee,Seok-Chun Ko,Hyun-Soo Kim,Ji-Yul Kim,Seong Wook Park,Dae Sung Lee,Il-Whan Choi +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the inhibitory effect of Sargassum horneri on fibrosis progression in nasal polyp (NPDFs) and NP tissues ex vivo.
Inhibition by Imipramine of the Voltage-Dependent K+ Channel in Rabbit Coronary Arterial Smooth Muscle Cells.
Jin Ryeol An,Mi Seon Seo,Hee Seok Jung,Ryeon Heo,Minji Kang,Eun-Taek Han,Hongzoo Park,Won-Kyo Jung,Il-Whan Choi,Won Sun Park +9 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that imipramine inhibits vascular Kv channels in a concentration- and use- (closed state)-dependent manner by changing their gating properties regardless of its own function.

Asenapine, an atypical antipsychotic, blocks voltage-gated potassium channels in rabbit coronary artery smooth muscle cells.
Mi Seon Seo,Minji Kang,Jin Ryeol An,Ryeon Heo,Won-Kyo Jung,Il-Whan Choi,Eun-Taek Han,Jin-Hee Han,Wanjoo Chun,Won Sun Park +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the effect of asenapine on voltage-dependent K+ (Kv) channels in rabbit coronary artery smooth muscle cells was investigated, and it was shown that asenaphine increased the recovery time constant of channel inactivation and produced use (state)-dependent inhibition of Kv channels at a stimulation frequency of 1 or 2 Hz.

Immune response inhibiting composition containing stem cells expressing tryptophan metabolizing enzyme genes
Su Kil Seo,서수길,Young-Suk Lee,이영숙,Sae Gwang Park,박세광,Il-Whan Choi,최일환 +7 more
- 20 Jan 2012
TL;DR: In this article, mesenchymal stem cells expressing tryptophan metabolizing enzyme genes and an immune inhibiting composition comprising the same were shown to provide enhanced immunosuppressive effects.
