The synthesis of biphenylglyoxime and bis(phenylglyoxime) and their complexes with cu(ii), ni(ii) and co(ii)
İbrahim Karataş,H. İsmet Uçan +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, Cacetylbiphenyl and 4,4′-diacetyl biphenyI have been synthesized from biphenyl, and the metal complexes of the glyoximes such as copper, nickei and cobalt were prepared.
54
Binuclear and mononuclear cobalt(II), nickel(II) and copper(II) complexes of 4,4'-bis(alkylaminoisonitrosoacetyl)diphenyl-methane derivatives
TL;DR: The NiII, CuII and CoII complexes of these ligands were identified using AAS, i.e., 1H-n.m.r., spectral data, elemental analyses and magnetic susceptibility measurements as discussed by the authors.

Side‐chain functionalization of polystyrene with maleic anhydride in the presence of lewis acids
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of molecular weight of polystyrene, as well as type of Lewis acid used, on properties and structure of products were investigated and a direct relationship between the activity of catalyst used and the number of carboxyl groups was found.

Functionalization of polystyrene and adhesion studies
R.A. Kurbanova,Ramazan Mirzaoğlu,Sultan Kurbanov,İbrahim Karataş,Vecihi Pamuk,Emine Özcan,Ahmet Okudan,Ersin Guler +7 more
TL;DR: The adhesion capability of polystyrene to metals and their capability to provide corrosion resistance to metals under various conditions have been investigated in this article, where the polyfunctional polystyrenes were prepared via reaction of the poly styrene with different functional groups [2-methyl-2,3-epoxy-6-octene-4-one (I), 2-methyl 2.7-nonadien-4,one (II), 1-chloro-2.5-hexene (III), I-(Δ3-tetrahydro

Effects of the functional groups of polystyrene on its adhesion improvement and corrosion resistance
R.A. Kurbanova,Ahmet Okudan,Ramazan Mirzaoğlu,Sultan Kurbanov,İbrahim Karataş,Mustafa Ersoz,Emine Özcan,G. Ahmedova,Vecihi Pamuk +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a very good relationship was observed between the quantity of functional groups bonded to the aromatic rings of polystyrenes and the adhesion and corrosion resistance properties of polyfunctionalized polystyrene.
