TL;DR: It is demonstrated that AV repair can reproducibly be performed with low early and late mortality and good long-term durability and Regression analysis suggests that severe LV dilatation and dysfunction should be avoided with earlier operative intervention to minimize the risk ofLate mortality and AV reoperation.
