Phase II trial of gemcitabine in patients with pretreated advanced soft tissue sarcomas.
TL;DR: Gemcitabine, given as a prolonged infusion at a low dose level, has a favorable toxicity profile and displays antitumor activity in patients with intensively pretreated, advanced soft tissue sarcomas.

Prevalence and clinical significance of anticardiolipin and anti-beta2-glycoprotein-I antibodies in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
TL;DR: High APA titres and the combination of positive aCL‐ and anti‐β2‐GPI antibodies, features known to be more strongly correlated with thrombosis among patients with antiphospholipid syndrome and systemic lupus erythematous (SLE), were very uncommon in this cohort of NHL patients.

Arterial thrombosis associated with anticardiolipin and anti-beta2-glycoprotein-I antibodies in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma: a report of two cases.
TL;DR: Patients with non‐Hodgkin's lymphoma and both anti‐cardiolipin and anti‐β2‐glycoprotein‐I antibodies may be, similar to lupus patients, at considerable risk towards thrombosis, especially towards arterial thromBosis.

TL;DR: Adverse effects associated with amifostine were not observed more frequently in elderly patients than in younger ones, although more elderly patients had a comorbidity than the younger ones.

Primary hepatic or splenic diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and hepatitis C virus infection: a non-fortuitous association?
TL;DR: The authors have studied 119 German patients at first diagnosis of malignant lymphoma since 1995 to determine the prevalence of serologic markers of HCV infection and found that none of the patients with non-B using third-generation enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were infected with HCV.
