Critical Role of Regrowth Conditions in Post-Cryopreservation of In Vitro Plant Germplasm
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors provide an overview of the five main strategies available at the recovery stage to improve post-cryopreservation survival of in vitro plant materials and their further proliferation and development, including the modification of the recovery medium composition (iron-and ammonium-free), exogenous additives to cope with oxidative stress and absorb toxic chemicals, and modulation of medium osmotic potential.
Features of respiration and formation of steroidal glycosides in Dioscorea deltoidea cell suspension culture grown in flasks and bioreactors
Maria Titova,Maria Titova,N. A. Shumilo,I. E. Kulichenko,I. M. Ivanov,E. S. Sukhanova,E. S. Sukhanova,Alexander Nosov,Alexander Nosov +8 more
TL;DR: Investigations were carried out on the culture of Dioscorea deltoidea Wall—strain producer of steroidal glycosides (protodioscin and deltoside)—for which growth characteristics and content of furostanol glycoside were determined during the semirunning growth in bubble bioreactors.

Sustainable Production of Ajuga Bioactive Metabolites Using Cell Culture Technologies: A Review
Elena Popova,Maria Titova,M. Tynykulov,R. P. Zakirova,I. E. Kulichenko,O Prudnikova,Alexander Nosov +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a review summarizes the current progress in cell culture application for the production of pharmacologically important Ajuga metabolites, discusses various approaches to improve the compound yield, and highlights the potential directions for future interventions.
Stability of cryopreserved Polyscias filicifolia suspension cell culture during cultivation in laboratory and industrial bioreactors
M. V. Titova,Elena Popova,N. A. Shumilo,I. E. Kulichenko,N. D. Chernyak,I. M. Ivanov,A. G. Klushin,Alexander Nosov,Alexander Nosov +8 more
TL;DR: This study demonstrates that cryopreservation is a reliable and effective method for conservation of P. filicifolia cell culture for biotechnological applications.
Respiration activity of suspension cell culture of Polyscias filicifolia bailey, Stephania glabra (Roxb.) miers, and Dioscorea deltoidea wall
M. V. Titova,E. A. Berkovich,O. V. Reshetnyak,I. E. Kulichenko,A. V. Oreshnikov,Alexander Nosov +5 more
TL;DR: The revealed trends can be used for further monitoring and regulation of growth and biosynthesis of secondary metabolites in producing cell cultures during deep cultivation.
