Enhancement of piezoelectricity via electrostatic effects on a textile platform
Hyun-Jin Kim,SeongMin Kim,Hyungbin Son,Hyeok Kim,Boongik Park,JiYeon Ku,Jung Inn Sohn,Kyuhyun Im,Jae Eun Jang,Jong-Jin Park,Ohyun Kim,Seung Nam Cha,Young-Jun Park +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the enhanced piezoelectricity by electrostatic effects on a textile based platform was shown by using a simple AC-DC converter circuit, which operated the green organic light-emitting diode and a liquid crystal display panel using a 100 dB sonic wave.

Electrochemically fabricated NiCu alloy catalysts for hydrogen production in alkaline water electrolysis
Sang Hyun Ahn,Hee-Young Park,Insoo Choi,Sung Jong Yoo,Seung Jun Hwang,Hyoung-Juhn Kim,EunAe Cho,Chang Won Yoon,Hansoo Park,Hyungbin Son,Juan Martin Hernandez,Suk Woo Nam,Tae Hoon Lim,Soo-Kil Kim,Jong Hyun Jang +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, NiCu alloy catalysts for alkaline water electrolysis were prepared by an electrodeposition method varying the alloy composition, and the mass activities of NiCu alloys were correlated with bulk and surface Cu contents to investigate the Cu alloying effect.

Time Evolution Studies on Strain and Doping of Graphene Grown on a Copper Substrate Using Raman Spectroscopy
TL;DR: It is observed, that graphene/Cu2O hybrid structures significantly slows down the oxidation compared to using a bare Cu substrate, and the thickness of the CuO layer on the bareCu substrate was increased to approximately 270 nm.

Photodynamic Anticancer Activities of Multifunctional Cobalt Ferrite Nanoparticles in Various Cancer Cells.
Bong Joo Park,Kyong-Hoon Choi,Ki Chang Nam,Anser Ali,Joe Eun Min,Hyungbin Son,Han S. Uhm,Ho-Joong Kim,Jin-Seung Jung,Eun Ha Choi +9 more
TL;DR: The newly developed multifunctional CoFe2O4-HPs-FAs are effective for PDT and have potential as therapeutic agents for MRI-based PDT, because they have a high saturation value of magnetization and superparamagnetism.
