A concept of place attachment is required to understand the relationship between humans and the tourism environment. The concepts have been integrated into spatial studies with no universal agreement to explain the human-place bond. This systematic literature review focuses on the relationship between place attachment and heritage tourism using the PRISMA principles. This research proposes a conceptualization focus on the ritual approach as a human-place relationship. The place attachment conceptual framework has been influenced by multiple variables such as familiarity, length of engagement, emotional attachment, place character, and rituals. In contrast, heritage tourism's conceptual framework is influenced by curiosity and authenticity.

ABSTRACT The design and implementation of seismic structures in architecture are essential for enhancing safety and accessibility during earthquakes. However, many Indonesian architecture students lack the skills to design and analyze earthquake‐resistant buildings. This gap is especially concerning given Indonesia's high vulnerability to seismic events, where building safety and resilience are critical. This paper examines the introduction of instructional simulations in an undergraduate architecture program with a specialization in earthquake‐resistant design, utilizing Rhino‐Grasshopper software. The teaching methods focus on improving earthquake resistance through advanced computational modeling, with an emphasis on structural optimization and performance‐based design. Applied to second‐year students, this approach led to 80% of them effectively incorporating simulation tools into their project designs. This method offers a comprehensive framework for integrating earthquake‐resistant design into architectural education, providing a practical guide for students in earthquake‐prone regions like Indonesia.

This study examines the influence of Local Own-source Revenue (PAD) and gross regional domestic product on regional financial independence in regencies/cities on Sumatra Island in 2020. This study uses secondary data in the form of budget realization reports published at the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance. The sample in this study consists of 154 regencies/cities throughout Sumatra Island. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression using Eviews 12. The results partially indicate that Local Own-source Revenue (PAD) and gross regional domestic product have a positive and significant effect on regional financial independence in districts/cities on the island of Sumatra year 2020.

This study examines the effect of managerial ownership, free cash flow and debt on dividends in transportation and infrastructure companies in Indonesia. Sampling method use purposive and gotten 27 companies from 2015-2020. The data analysis method uses the Panel Data Regression analysis. The results of this study find that managerial ownership has a positive and significant effect, FCF has a negative and significant effect, while leverage proxy by DER has no significant effect on dividends. The results of this study indicate the occurrence of type I agency conflict in transportation and infrastructure companies in Indonesia.

This study aims to determine the Debt To Equity Ratio (DER), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Inflation and Interest Rates (SBI) on Profitability in construction companies (Persero) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses secondary data in the form of construction company (Persero) financial reports for 2015-2021 accessed on the company's official website and www.bi.go.id. The population in this study were 22 companies and the sample used was 15 companies selected using the Purposive Sampling method. The results showed that DER had a positive but not significant effect on ROA, TATO had a positive and significant effect on ROA, INF had a positive but not significant effect on ROA, and SBI had a positive and insignificant effect on ROA.

Effect of debt to equity ratio (der), total asset turnover (tato), inflation and interest rate (sbi) on profitability in construction company (persero) on the indonesia stock exchange

This study examines the influence of profitability, capital structure, investment decisions, and firm size on firm value in pharmaceutical sub-sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses secondary data from the financial statements of each pharmaceutical sub-sector company. The sample in this study consists of 9 pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2018-2021. The data analysis method used is a multiple linear regression test with the help of Eviews 12. The results partially show that return on assets, return on equity, and capital structure has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile, investment decisions and firm size partially do not significantly affect firm value in pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2018-2021 period.

THE INFLUENCE OF PROFITABILITY, CAPITAL STRUCTURE, INVESTMENT DECISION, AND FIRM SIZE ON FIRM VALUE (A Study in the Pharmaceutical Sector Listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange)

The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–2030 emphasizes the importance of learning from experiences to strengthen preparedness and "Build Back Better" through risk reduction in the phases of recovery, rehabilitation, and reconstruction. On December 26, 2004, Aceh Province in Indonesia was affected by an earthquake and tsunami that caused infrastructure damage and resulted in the death of 160,000–200,000 people. Mc. Caughey simulation (2017) showed that 50% of respondents in Banda Aceh, preferred mosques as tsunami evacuation sites in the future. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the function of mosques as tsunami evacuation buildings through a community-based approach. The method involved participatory observation and in-depth interviews, guided by the principles of Sense of Place Attachment and Behavior Theory. The results showed that the Baitul Musyahadah Mosque satisfied the criteria for serving as a tsunami evacuation facility. A significant proportion of the community (38%) selected mosques as their preferred evacuation sites, considering factors such as ease of horizontal access (22%), ease of vertical access (22%), the call to prayer (12%), and the available space (4%). The analysis of sociodemographic factors indicated that individuals aged 20–30 expressed attachment towards the physical aesthetics of the mosques, while those aged 31–50 exhibited attachment towards the symbolic significance. This study recommended integrating the design concept of mosques to accommodate worship activities and emergency evacuation, thereby contributing to national and international endeavors aimed at mitigating tsunami risks.
