Active suppression of pneumatic vibration isolators using adaptive sliding controller with self-tuning fuzzy compensation
TL;DR: In this article, an adaptive fuzzy sliding-mode controller (AFSMC) is employed as a compensator of the FAT-based SMC to deal with approximation error and system dynamics variation, and Lyapunov stability theory is used not only to ensure the closedloop stability, but also to formulate the updating laws for weighting coefficients of expansion basis and fuzzy tuning parameters.

Active pneumatic vibration control by using pressure and velocity measurements and adaptive fuzzy sliding-mode controller
TL;DR: This paper presents an intelligent control strategy to overcome nonlinear and time-varying characteristics of a diaphragm-type pneumatic vibration isolator (PVI) system by combining an adaptive rule with fuzzy and sliding-mode control which has online learning ability when it faces the system's nonlinearand time-Varying behaviors during an active vibration control process.

Model-Free Adaptive Sensing and Control for a Piezoelectrically Actuated System
Hung-Yi Chen,Jin-Wei Liang +1 more
TL;DR: A model-free adaptive sliding controller is proposed to improve the small travel and hysteresis defects of piezoelectrically actuated systems by employing the functional approximation technique (FAT) to establish the unknown function for eliminating the model-based requirement of the sliding-mode control.

Un-symmetric Input Temperature Control by using Fuzzy Sliding Mode Controller with Gain Auto-tuning
Shiuh-Jer Huang,Hung-Yi Chen +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a fuzzy sliding mode control strategy is employed to design an intelligent temperature controller with gain-scheduling scheme or gain auto-tuning algorithm for a closed chamber with heater one-way input only.

Piezoelectric-actuated drop-on-demand droplet generator control using adaptive wavelet neural network controller
Hung-Yi Chen,Jin-Wei Liang +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the adaptive wavelet neural network (AWNN) control is applied to overcome nonlinear hysteresis inherited in the LPM, and the adaptive learning rates are derived based on the Lyapunov stability theorem so that the stability of the closed-loop system can be assured.
