TL;DR: In this article, the X-ray absorption near-edge structure shows that poisonous Cr 6+ in the laboratory wasteliquid were reduced to Cr 3+ by adding Fe 2+ at [Fe 2+ /total metal, mole ratio higher than 4:1].
