Effect of Bi2O3 on physical, optical and structural properties of boron silicon bismuthate glasses
TL;DR: In this article, the lead-free boron silicon bismuthate glasses were investigated in terms of their physical, optical and structural properties, and the physical properties of these glasses have been explored by compositional variation of X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential thermal analysis (DTA) and density.

Broadband 1.5-μm emission of high erbium-doped Bi2O3–B2O3–Ga2O3 glasses
TL;DR: In this article, high Erbium-doped glass showing the wider 1.5μm emission band is reported in the Bi2O3-B2O-3-Ga 2O3 system and its thermal stability and optical properties such as absorption, emission spectra, absorption and stimulated emission cross-sections and fluorescence lifetime are investigated.
