Research on optimal capacity of wind power based on coordination with pumped storage power
Huiling Li,Chao Zheng,Sizhuo Lv,Shuanbao Liu,Chao Huo +4 more
- 01 Oct 2016
TL;DR: In this article, a multi-objective optimization model considering transmission limit is presented to coordinate the operation of large-scale wind power and pumped hydro storage, and the optimal capacity of wind plant is calculated on this model.

Scheme and Operation Characteristic Analysis of Large Sending Terminal DC Grid Based on Flexible DC in West China
Huiling Li,Zhan Shu,Chao Zheng,Song Yunting,Ping Ding,Xinglei Chen +5 more
- 01 Nov 2019
TL;DR: A ± 1000kV large west sending terminal DC power grid based on VSC-HVDC is constructed, by which with rich distributed resources in West China can be centrally dispatched to East China, avoiding the uncertainty impact of renewable energy power generation on power system stability.

Method for estimating grid wind power sending capability allowing for wind farm off the system constraint
Huiling Li,Chao Zheng,Song Yunting,Zhang Xin,Lv Sizhuo,Li Shunxin,Yang Jingang,Li Xiaorong,Zhang Zhiqiang,Tang Xiaojun,Chen Dezhi,Chen Xiang,Li Zaihua +12 more
- 26 May 2017
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for estimating a grid wind power sending capability allowing for a wind farm off the system constraint is proposed, which is based on alternating current and direct current grid data of an estimated area.
Threats and Countermeasures of Doubly-fed Induction Generator High-voltage Trip-off under Short Circuit Fault
Ruoqi Lin,Jun Qi,Zhiguo Yang,Mingyu Yang,Huiling Li,Chao Zheng +5 more
- 30 Oct 2020
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of changes in grid-connected bus voltage on the transient response of a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) and found that the internal potential of wind turbines with voltage feedback control function has the characteristic of "callback lag", and analyzed the mechanism of this characteristic triggering the threat of highvoltage trip-off.
Analysis for HVDC inverter's influence on faults recovery of AC/DC hybrid grid
Huiling Li,Sizhuo Lv,Shibing Bai +2 more
- 01 Nov 2017
TL;DR: The result shows that DC controller model and model parameters will have impacts on the fault recovery of AC/DC hybrid grid; new models are closer to the real performances of DC grid, and fault recovery characteristics are better.
