Hui Zhou,Kui Zhang,Wei Chen,Junhao Chen,Jie Zheng,Chang Liu,Li Cheng,Wanqing Zhou,Han Shen,Xiaoli Cao +9 more
TL;DR: The treatment for infections caused by CRE isolates is challenged by the presence of multiple resistance determinants and plasmid replicons, which alert us on the urgency for antimicrobial resistant surveillance, to prevent dissemination of these highly transmissible and dangerous lineages.
Characterization of clinical enterococci isolates, focusing on the vancomycin-resistant enterococci in a tertiary hospital in China: based on the data from 2013 to 2018.
Wanqing Zhou,Hui Zhou,Yuhan Sun,Shuo Gao,Yan Zhang,Xiaoli Cao,Zhifeng Zhang,Han Shen,Chunni Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: VanA and vanM were the main determinants conferring resistance to vancomycin; ST78, ST192 and ST570 were the leading STs of VREM which displayed a decreasing trend of prevalence year by year.
Impact of environmental cleaning on the colonization and infection rates of multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii in patients within the intensive care unit in a tertiary hospital
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of environmental cleaning and hand hygiene compliance on the colonization and infection rates of multidrug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (MDR-AB) in patients within an intensive care unit (ICU) was evaluated through monitoring fluorescent marks when the overall compliance with hand hygiene during 2013-2014 was monitored.
