Microstructure and properties of Ni60 alloy coating prepared by electromagnetic compound field assisted laser cladding
TL;DR: In this article , Ni60 high-hardness alloy coatings were prepared on pure iron substrates by electromagnetic compound field (ECF) assisted laser cladding, and the results showed that ECF did not change the phase composition of the coatings, but had a significant influence on the microstructure.

The microstructure of Ni layer on single-walled carbon nanotubes prepared by an electroless coating process
TL;DR: The single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs, diameter: 2∼3 nm) with Ni-P coating layers were obtained by an electroless deposition process as discussed by the authors.

Coalescence of Au-Pd Nanoropes and their Application as Enhanced Electrocatalysts for the Oxygen Reduction Reaction.
TL;DR: In this article , a fusion approach is developed to fine-tune the defects and lattice strain in Au-Pd nanowires to improve the performance of noble metal catalysts.

Icosahedral Pd Nanocrystal Catalysts with Dispersed Bi Atoms via Photochemical Route for Enhanced Formic Acid Oxidation Reaction
TL;DR: In this article , a photochemical reduction approach was used to decorate noble metal catalysts with specific main group or transition metal atoms to improve the catalytic performance through electronic structure regulation and active site optimization without losing the active surface area.

The High Thickness Ni Layer on Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes Prepared by an Electroless Coating Process
TL;DR: In this article, the Single-walled carbon nanotubes were coated with Ni-P layers by an electroless plating technique and the coating layers after heat-treatment converted the amorphous NiP coated layers into the nanocrystalline Ni-p layers.
