Role of fibrinogen-like protein 2 prothrombinase/fibroleukin in experimental and human allograft rejection.
Qin Ning,Yi Sun,Meifang Han,Li Zhang,Chuanglong Zhu,Weijie Zhang,Hui Guo,Jinwen Li,Weiming Yan,Feili Gong,Zhonghua Chen,William He,Cheryl Koscik,Robert A. Smith,Reginald M. Gorczynski,Gary A. Levy,Xiaoping Luo +16 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that fgl2 accounts for the fibrin deposition seen in both experimental and human allograft rejection and provide a rationale for targeting fGL2 as adjunctive therapy to treat allografted rejection.
Blockade of Extracellular HMGB1 Suppresses Xenoreactive B Cell Responses and Delays Acute Vascular Xenogeneic Rejection
Jun Li,B. Zhao,X.-H. Zhu,Lin Wang,Huijuan Zou,Shi Chen,Shi Chen,Hui Guo,Hui Guo,Yongle Ruan,Fang Zheng,Fang Zheng,Ying Xiang,Ying Xiang,Changsheng Ming,Changsheng Ming,Feili Gong,Feili Gong,Gang Chen,Gang Chen +19 more
TL;DR: It is shown that neutralization of extracellular HMGB1 can significantly inhibit xenoreactive B cell responses and delay xenograft rejection in a rat‐to‐mouse model of xenotransplantation, uncovering new insights in the role ofHMGB1 in transplantation.

Improved suppression of circulating complement does not block acute vascular rejection of pig-to-rhesus monkey cardiac transplants.
Gang Chen,Qian-Yun Sun,X.M. Wang,Shiqian Shen,Hui Guo,Hong Wang,Ying Wu,Wan-yu Wang,Yu-liang Xiong,Shi Chen +9 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that repetitive injection of low dose Y‐CVF can be used to continuously suppress circulating complement in a very potent manner and successfully prevent hyperacute rejection (HAR), however, the continuous suppression of circulating complement did not prevent AVR.

Updated Genetic Testing of Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 1 in a Chinese Population: Results from a Single Center Study and a Systematic Review.
Dunfeng Du,Qianqian Li,Chen Chen,Shumei Shi,Yuanyuan Zhao,Jipin Jiang,Dao Wen Wang,Hui Guo,Weijie Zhang,Zhishui Chen +9 more
- 01 Oct 2018
TL;DR: New genetic subtypes and genetic characteristics of PH1 are updated in the Chinese population and a genotype-phenotype correlation is found in PH1, a rare but devastating autosomal recessive inherited disease.

Expression of neuropilin-1 in kidney graft biopsies: what is the significance?
TL;DR: NRP-1 may have a previously unrecognized role to predict the immune state of the graft as a potential marker for Treg because of its important role in directing the growth of nervous synapses and immune synapses.
