Interleukin-10 controls neutrophilic infiltration, hepatocyte proliferation, and liver fibrosis induced by carbon tetrachloride in mice
Hubert Louis,Jean-Luc Van Laethem,Wei Wu,Eric Quertinmont,Chantal Degraef,Kit Van den Berg,Anne Demols,Michel Goldman,Olivier Le Moine,Albert Geerts,Jacques Devière +10 more
TL;DR: In conclusion, endogenous IL‐10 marginally affects the hepatocyte necrosis although it controls the acute inflammatory burst induced by CCl4 during liver repair, it limits the proliferative response of hepatocytes and the development of fibrosis.

Differential liver sensitization to Toll‐like receptor pathways in mice with alcoholic fatty liver
Thierry Gustot,Arnaud Lemmers,Christophe Moreno,Nathalie Nagy,Eric Quertinmont,Charles Nicaise,Denis Franchimont,Hubert Louis,Jacques Devière,Olivier Le Moine +9 more
TL;DR: EtOH‐fed mice exhibited an oxidative stress dependent on upregulation of multiple TLRs in the liver and are sensitive to liver inflammation induced by multiple bacterial products recognized by TLRs.

Cold liver ischemia-reperfusion injury critically depends on liver T cells and is improved by donor pretreatment with interleukin 10 in mice.
Olivier Le Moine,Hubert Louis,Anne Demols,Fabrice Desalle,François Xavier Demoor,Eric Quertinmont,Michel Goldman,Jacques Devière +7 more
TL;DR: Liver resident T cells are critically involved in cold ischemia‐reperfusion injury and pretreatment of the donor with IL‐10 decreases liver injury and the release of T‐cell– and macrophage‐dependent cytokines.

Hepatoprotective role of interleukin 10 in galactosamine/lipopolysaccharide mouse liver injury
TL;DR: Results indicate that IL-10 protects the liver in the Gal/LPS mouse model, and increased IL- 10 and decreased TNF-alpha secretion are potentially involved in the hepatoprotection observed after GdCl3 pretreatment.

CCR5 Deficiency Exacerbates T-Cell–Mediated Hepatitis in Mice
Christophe Moreno,Thierry Gustot,Charles Nicaise,Eric Quertinmont,Nathalie Nagy,Marc Parmentier,Olivier Le Moine,Jacques Devière,Hubert Louis +8 more
TL;DR: CCR5 deficiency exacerbates T‐cell–mediated hepatitis, and leads to increased levels of C CR5 ligands and a more pronounced liver mononuclear infiltrate, suggesting that CCR5 expression can modulate severity of immunomediated liver injury.
