Behavior of the hard phases of copper alloys subjected to cavitation erosion investigated by SEM observation
TL;DR: In this article , the cavitation erosion performance of two copper alloys in deionized water (DW) and artificial seawater (ASW) for 10 hours was investigated, and the results showed that the accumulation of the stress at phase boundaries caused crack generation in the α phase and severe deformation of the hard phases (κ & Fe(Al,Cu)), resulting in the exfoliation of hard phases.
