Mozart K.448 acts as a potential add-on therapy in children with refractory epilepsy
Lung-Chang Lin,Wei-Te Lee,Chien-Hua Wang,Chien-Hua Wang,Hsiu-Lin Chen,Hui-Chuan Wu,Chin-Lin Tsai,Ruey-Chang Wei,Hin-Kiu Mok,Chia-Fen Weng,Mei-Wen Lee,Rei-Cheng Yang +11 more
TL;DR: The long-term effects of Mozart K.448 should be further studied as a potential add-on therapy in the treatment of children with refractory epilepsy.

B-Type Natriuretic Peptide Predicts Responses to Indomethacin in Premature Neonates with Patent Ductus Arteriosus
TL;DR: High baseline BNP levels predict poor responses to indomethacin and the need for surgery in premature neonates with PDA.

Pigment epithelium-derived factor inhibits lung cancer migration and invasion by upregulating exosomal thrombospondin 1.
Wen Tsung Huang,Inn Wen Chong,Hsiu-Lin Chen,Chia-Yang Li,Chong Chao Hsieh,Hsuan Fu Kuo,Chia Yuan Chang,Yung-Hsiang Chen,Yu Peng Liu,Chi Yu Lu,Yu Ru Liu,Po Len Liu +11 more
TL;DR: The findings indicate that PEDF decreases the metastatic potential of NSCLC cells through regulation of THBS1 release in cancer cell-derived exosomes, thus uncovering a new mechanism of lung cancer progression.

Magnolol induces apoptosis via caspase-independent pathways in non-small cell lung cancer cells
Jong Rung Tsai,Inn Wen Chong,Yung-Hsiang Chen,Jhi Jhu Hwang,Wei Hsian Yin,Hsiu-Lin Chen,Shah Hwa Chou,Chien-Chih Chiu,Po Len Liu +8 more
TL;DR: It is shown that Magnolol inhibited cellular proliferation, increased DNA fragmentation, and decreased mitochondrial membrane potential in all NSCLC cells, but had no cytotoxic effect on HBECs, suggesting that magnolol induces apoptosis ofNSCLC cell lines via a caspase-independent pathway.

Assisted exercise improves bone strength in very low birthweight infants by bone quantitative ultrasound.
TL;DR: Assisted exercise was performed in the study group of very low birthweight (VLBW) premature infants to evaluate whether assisted exercise could prevent the development of osteopenia of prematurity.
