Rubin,Leon S. Malmud,Leon S. Malmud,Anthony J. Comerota,Anthony J. Comerota +27 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that rapid intracoronary clot lysis and coronary reperfusion can be achieved early in myocardial infarction by brief-duration systemic intravenous infusion of high-dose streptokinase without a high incidence of serious bleeding.

Electrocardiographic st‐t wave patterns, extent of coronary artery disease, and left ventricular performance following non‐q‐wave myocardial infarction
TL;DR: A large proportion of NQMI patients have LM disease, three vessel disease, or normal or nearly normal coronaries, andCoronary angiography appears warranted to assess the extent of CAD in symptomatic NQ MI patients.

Quinidine Elimination in Patients with Congestive Heart Failure or Poor Renal Function
Kenneth M. Kessler,David T. Lowenthal,Howard F. Warner,Thomas C. Gibson,William A. Briggs,Marcus M. Reidenberg +5 more
TL;DR: Plasma quinidine half-life values, determined by a relatively specific double extraction method in eight patients with poor renal function, eight with congestive heart failure, and nine controls were similar for all groups.
Left ventricular size in competitive weight lifters: an echocardiographic study.
Francis J. Menapace,William J. Hammer,Theodore F. Ritzer,Kenneth M. Kessler,Howard F. Warner,James F. Spann,Alfred A. Bove +6 more
TL;DR: Weight lifters have normal left ventricular mass/volume ratios, in spite of an increased septal/free wall ratio, and two measurements provide a means to separate weight lifters from patients with HCM.
Polymorphic acetylation of procainamide in man
TL;DR: The NAPA/procainamide ratio in urine (collected 90 to 180 min after last dose) was found to be higher in rapid than in slow acetylators, indicating that NAP A probably contributes to the antiarrhythmic activity of procainamide therapy, especially in genetic rapid acetylator groups.
