Second-Harmonic Generation within the P212121 Space Group, in a Series of Chiral (Salicylaldiminato)tin Schiff Base Complexes
José María Rivera,Horacio Reyes,Armando Cortes,Rosa Santillan,Pascal G. Lacroix,Christine Lepetit,Keitaro Nakatani,Norberto Farfán +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of 10 chiral (salicylaldiminato)tin Schiff base complexes obtained from the Schiff base condensation of 4-(diethylamino)salichylaldehyde and various amino acids, in the presence of diphenyltin oxide, is reported together with the parent achiral (1) derivative.

Development of enhanced nanocomposite preformed particle gels for conformance control in high-temperature and high-salinity oil reservoirs
C. Duran-Valencia,Baojun Bai,Horacio Reyes,Romina Fajardo-Lopez,Fernando Barragán-Aroche,Simón López-Ramírez +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the synthesis, characterization and evaluation of nanocomposite preformed particle gels (PPGs) for use as conformance control agents in high-temperature and high-salinity oil reservoirs.
Syntheses, crystal structures, and quadratic nonlinear optical properties in four “push–pull” diorganotin derivatives
Horacio Reyes,Concepción García,Norberto Farfán,Rosa Santillan,Pascal G. Lacroix,Christine Lepetit,Keitaro Nakatani +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, four "push-pull" diorganotin compounds obtained by reaction of methoxysalicylaldehyde or 4-diethylaminosalisticylaldehyde, 2-amino-5-nitrophenol and dibutyltin or diphenyltin oxide are reported.

Synthesis, crystal structures, and quadratic nonlinear optical properties in a series of push–pull boronate derivatives
Horacio Reyes,B. Muñoz,Norberto Farfán,Rosa Santillan,Susana Rojas-Lima,Pascal G. Lacroix,Keitaro Nakatani +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of eighteen new "push-pull" molecules obtained by self-assembly of salicylideniminophenols and various phenylboronic acids is reported.

One pot synthesis of 2-phenylbenzoxazoles by potassium cyanide assisted reaction of o-aminophenols and benzaldehydes
TL;DR: The 2-phenylbenzoxazoles were obtained in moderate to good yields by reaction of the substituted o-aminophenols with benzaldehydes in the presence of one equivalent of potassium cyanide as an equimolecular catalyst in N,N-dimethylformamide at room temperature as mentioned in this paper.
