Ethylene glycol-mediated synthetic route for production of luminescent silicon nanorod as photodynamic therapy agent
TL;DR: This study is the first to use an ethylene glycol-mediated synthetic route to prepare SiNR as a multicolor fluorescent probe and a new photodynamic therapy (PDT) agent, and demonstrates that the SiNR can be utilized as a new nanophotosensitizer for fluorescence imaging- guided cancer treatment.
Colorimetric and Ratiometric Fluorescence Detection of HSO3- With a NIR Fluorescent Dye.
TL;DR: The probe PBI was designed and synthesized to detect bisulfite (HSO3−) through nucleophilic addition reaction and can quantitatively detect HSO3− and was successfully applied to the fluorescence imaging of Hso3− in living cells.
The efficient profiling of serum N-linked glycans by a highly porous 3D graphene composite
Huan Niu,Xin Li,Xin Li,Jiaxi Peng,Jiaxi Peng,Hongyan Zhang,Hongyan Zhang,Zhao Xingyun,Zhao Xingyun,Xiaoyu Zhou,Xiaoyu Zhou,Dongping Yu,Dongping Yu,Xinyu Liu,Ren'an Wu +14 more
TL;DR: The application of the 3D graphene composite in profiling the up-regulated and down-regulated N-linked glycans from the real clinical serum samples of ovarian cancer patients confirmed the potential of the three-dimensional graphene composite for analyzing minute and complicated biological samples.

Real time detection of antibody-antigen interaction using a laser scanning confocal imaging-surface plasmon resonance system
Hongyan Zhang,Liquan Yang,Lan Meng,Jia-Cai Nie,Ting-Yin Ning,Weimin Liu,Jiayu Sun,Pengfei Wang +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a laser scanning confocal imaging-surface plasmon resonance (LSCI-SPR) instrument integrated with a wavelength-dependent SVM sensor and a LSCM is built to detect the bonding process of human IgG and fluorescent-labeled affinity purified antibodies in real time.

Spiking neural P system with synaptic vesicles and applications in multiple brain metastasis segmentation
Jie Xue,Deting Kong,Liwen Ren,Bosheng Song,Xiyu Liu,Guanzhong Gong,Dengwang Li,Hongyan Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors proposed SN P systems with synaptic vesicles (SN-SV P system), where each neuron contains multiple synaptic Vesicles to deal with different sets of spikes simultaneously.
