Structured illumination microscopy based on principal component analysis
TL;DR: PCA-SIM as mentioned in this paper is based on the observation that the ideal phasor matrix of a SIM pattern is of rank one, leading to the low complexity, precise identification of noninteger pixel wave vector and pattern phase while rejecting components that are unrelated to the parameter estimation.
Automated patch correctness assessment: how far are we?
Shangwen Wang,Ming Wen,Bo Lin,Hongjun Wu,Yihao Qin,Deqing Zou,Xiaoguang Mao,Hai Jin +7 more
- 21 Dec 2020
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper performed a large-scale empirical study on test-based automated program repair (APR) techniques and found that static code features with respect to patch syntax and semantics are generally effective in differentiating overfitting patches over correct ones.

Understanding the Non-Repairability Factors of Automated Program Repair Techniques
Bo Lin,Shangwen Wang,Ming Wen,Zhang Zhang,Hongjun Wu,Yihao Qint,Xiaoguang Mao +6 more
- 01 Dec 2020
TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic study on the existing execution logs that are ended with unexpected exceptions collected from different APR studies was performed to investigate different types of exceptions with their frequencies of occurrence, the behind reasons of such occurrences, as well as the impact of such exceptions on the repairability of APR techniques.

Peeler: Learning to Effectively Predict Flakiness without Running Tests
Yihao Qin,Shangwen Wang,Kui Liu,Bo Lin,Hongjun Wu,Li Li,Xiaoguang Mao,Tegawendé F. Bissyandé +7 more
- 01 Oct 2022
TL;DR: Peeler as mentioned in this paper is a new fully static approach for predicting flaky tests through exploring a representation of test cases based on the data dependency relations, which is then trained as a neural network based model.
