SAR Image Super-Resolution Based on Noise-Free Generative Adversarial Network
Feng Gu,Hong Zhang,Chao Wang,Fan Wu +3 more
- 01 Jul 2019
TL;DR: A deep generative adversarial network (DGAN) is proposed to reconstruct the pseudo high-resolution (HR) SAR images to maintain the SAR image content with high-level noise suppression and shows the superiority of the proposed method to the conventional CNN baselines.

RNA-binding proteins SOP-2 and SOR-1 form a novel PcG-like complex in C. elegans.
Tingting Zhang,Yinyan Sun,E Tian,Hansong Deng,Yuxia Zhang,Xin Luo,Qingchun Cai,Huayi Wang,Jijie Chai,Hong Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: Surprisingly, homologs of SOR-1 and SOP-2 are not found in other organisms, including the congeneric species C. briggsae, suggesting an unexpected lack of evolutionary constraint on an essential global gene regulatory system.
Selective autophagic degradation of maternally-loaded germline P granule components in somatic cells during C. elegans embryogenesis
Yu Zhao,E Tian,Hong Zhang +2 more
TL;DR: The defect in embryonic development in autophagy mutants is suppressed by mutation of sepa-1, suggesting that autophagic degradation of PGL granule components may provide nutrients for embryogenesis and/or also prevent the formation of aggregates that could be toxic for animal development.

DEM Generation Combining SAR Polarimetry and Shape-From-Shading Techniques
Xi Chen,Chao Wang,Hong Zhang +2 more
TL;DR: This letter developed a method for DEM generation requiring only one POLSAR flight pass, by combining orientation angle estimation and a shape-from-shading technique, and it is noted that SAR intensity is a strong indicator of the range component of the terrain slopes.

Investigation of the Capability of $H\hbox{-}\alpha$ Decomposition of Compact Polarimetric SAR
TL;DR: A compact H-α space for dual circular polarimetric mode is proposed on the basis of the distribution centers and densities of different PSMs and results show that the decomposition accuracy of each PSM is improved compared with the results of previous publication.
