Design an anticancer copper(II) pro-drug based on the flexible IIA subdomain of human serum albumin
TL;DR: The HSA complex structure revealed that Cu(L)(PRD) binds to the hydrophobic cavity in HSA IIA sub-domain, His242 of HSA replaces the pyridine ligand in Cu compound, coordinating with Cu2+.

Facile total synthesis of lysicamine and the anticancer activities of the Ru II , Rh III , Mn II and Zn II complexes of lysicamine
Jiao-Lan Qin,Ting Meng,Zhen-Feng Chen,Xiao-Li Xie,Qi-Pin Qin,He Xiaoju,Ke-Bin Huang,Hong Liang +7 more
TL;DR: A facile concise total synthesis of lysicamine from simple raw materials under mild reaction conditions is demonstrated and in vivo study showed that 2 inhibited HepG2 tumor growth at 1/3 maximum tolerated dose (MTD) and had a better safety profile than cisplatin.
Study of the interaction of indirubin with bovine serum albumin.
TL;DR: The displacement experiment shows that indirubin can bind to the subdomain IIA and the distance between the tryptophan residues in BSA and indirUBin bound to site I was estimated to be 2.24 nm according to Föster's equation on the basis of fluorescence energy transfer.

Bis(2‐formylpyridine semicabazonato)nickel(II)
TL;DR: The Ni atom in the title complex, [Ni(C7H7N4O)2], is octahedrally coordinated by two mono-deprotonated Schiff bases that are derived from the condensation of pyridine-2-carbaldehyde and semicarbazide as mentioned in this paper.
