Multifunctional nanocomposite based on halloysite nanotubes for efficient luminescent bioimaging and magnetic resonance imaging
TL;DR: The results of the MRI tests indicated that the Fe-HNT-Eu NC can significantly decrease the T2 signal intensity values of the normal liver tissue and thus make the boundary between thenormal liver and transplanted cancer more distinct, thus effectively improving the diagnosis effect of cancers.
Synthesis, characterization and anticancer activities of transition metal complexes with a nicotinohydrazone ligand
Shanshan Shen,Hong Chen,Taofeng Zhu,Xiuqin Ma,Jun Xu,Wenjiao Zhu,Ruhua Chen,Jing Xie,Tieliang Ma,Lei Jia,Yuan Wang,Chunyan Peng +11 more
TL;DR: Four complexes formed by the reaction of divalent transition metal salts and (E)-N'-(1-(pyridin-2-yl)ethylidene)nicotinohydrazide were able to markedly decrease the proliferation rate of various types of tumor cell, including the human lung cancer cell line A549, human gastric cancercell line BGC823 and human esophageal cancer cell lines Eca109 in a concentration-dependent manner.
Effects of the JWA gene in the regulation of human breast cancer cells
Xiang Chen,Jiake Feng,Zhijun Ge,Hong Chen,Weiliang Ding,Wenjiao Zhu,Xiaoyan Tang,Yanyu Chen,Yongfei Tan,Tieliang Ma +9 more
TL;DR: The results of the Western blot analysis demonstrated that, compared with the control groups, the expression levels of phosphorylated (p‑)p38 decreased significantly in the JWA siRNA group, and no significant changes were observed in theexpression levels of p‑ERK1/2 or p‑JNK.
Protective effect of vitamin E on methyl methanesulfonate-induced teratozoospermia in adult Sprague-Dawley rats
Zhian Tang,Weiliang Ding,Lun Wang,Wenchu Jiang,Quanxiang Zhang,Hong Chen,Hongnan Zou,Yongkang Dong,Jianwei Shao,Tieliang Ma +9 more
TL;DR: VE has protective effects against MMS-induced teratozoospermia in adult rats, with sperm count and motility significantly higher in rats from the VE+MMS group than in the MMS group.
DNA damage in peripheral blood lymphocytes from patients with OSAHS
Jing Xie,Jianzhong Jiang,Keyun Shi,Tingting Zhang,Taofeng Zhu,Hong Chen,Ruhua Chen,Liming Qi,Weiliang Ding,Qiyi Yi,Tieliang Ma +10 more
TL;DR: Oxidative DNA damage increased in peripheral blood lymphocytes of OSAHS patients, which may be related to oxidative stress induced by intermittent hypoxia and may be involved in the pathogenesis of cardiovascular and other target organ injuries.
