Measurements of activation cross sections of (n, p) and (n, α) reactions with d-D neutrons in the energy range of 2.1–3.1 MeV
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured activation cross sections for (n, p) and (n-α) reactions by the activation method in the energy range of 2.1-3.1 MeV.

Measurement of activation cross-sections for (n,2n) reactions producing short-lived nuclei in the energy range between 13.4 and 14.9 MeV
Hitoshi Sakane,Yoshimi Kasugai,Michihiro Shibata,Toshiyuki Iida,Akito Takahashi,Tokio Fukahori,Kiyoshi Kawade +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured the activation cross-sections for 18 (n, 2n) reactions producing short-lived nuclei with half-lives between 20 s and 38 min.

Radioactive byproducts in [18O]H2O used to produce 18F for [18F]FDG synthesis
TL;DR: Potential radioactive byproducts in [(18)O]H(2)O irradiated with 9.6 MeV protons to produce (18)F were analyzed theoretically and experimentally and were not contaminated by the radionuclides.

Measurement method of activation cross-sections of reactions producing short-lived nuclei with 14 MeV neutrons
Kiyoshi Kawade,Hitoshi Sakane,Yoshimi Kasugai,Michihiro Shibata,Takashi Iida,Akito Takahashi,Tokio Fukahori +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a method for obtaining reliable activation cross-sections in the neutron energy range between 13.4 and 14.9 MeV for the reactions producing short-lived nuclei with half-lives between 0.5 and 30 min.

Tritium in [18O]water containing [18F]fluoride for [18F]FDG synthesis.
TL;DR: Tritium was detected in enriched [18O]water irradiated with 9.6 MeV protons used to produce [18F]fluoride by the 18O(p, n)18F reaction, and the existence of tritium was confirmed experimentally.
