Feasibility Study of a Novel Technique for Measurement of Liquid Thermal Conductivity with a Micro-beam Sensor
TL;DR: In this paper, a micro-beam-type MEMS sensor was used to measure the thermal conductivity of liquids with infinitesimal samples, which are much smaller than those required in conventional methods.

Effect of Three-Dimensional Electric Field and Heat Conduction to Electrodes on the Temperature Rise During Irreversible Electroporation
Seiji Nomura,Kosaku Kurata,Hiroshi Takamatsu +2 more
- 01 Mar 2011
TL;DR: In this article, a three-dimensional analysis was conducted to predict temperature rise during the irreversible electroporation (IRE) procedure, and the results showed that the highest temperature rise occurred at the base of electrodes adjacent to the insulated surface.

Theoretical analysis of the stability of vapor film in subcooled film boiling on a horizontal wire
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of liquid inertia, vapor viscosity and compressibility, and heat transfer were taken into account for a thin vapor film in subcooled film boiling on a horizontal cylinder.

Forced Convective Boiling of Nonazeotropic Refrigerant Mixtures of R22 and R114 inside a Horizontal Tube
Hiroshi Takamatsu,Akio Miyara,Shigeru Koyama,Tetsu Fujii +3 more
- 01 Nov 1988
TL;DR: In this paper, Yoshida et al. proposed a correlation empirique between the coefficient de transfert de chaleur and the perte de charge of the caracteristiques.
