Detection of a novel HLA-DQ specificity: serological and immunochemical analyses by a monoclonal antibody.
N. Ishikawa,Hiroshi Kojima,Tsuguyo Nakayama,Hiroshi Kunikane,S. Hawkin,Yuichiro Fukasawa,Hitoshi Ikeda,Kazumasa Ogasawara,Masanori Kasahara,Yasutaka Tajima,Yukio Kakuta,Akemi Wakisaka,Miki Aizawa +12 more
TL;DR: Two-dimensional gel analyses indicated that the mAb recognized class II antigens which were encoded by the HLA-DQ locus, and in genetic analysis, the gene encoding the class II antigen detected by HU-46 met the Hardy-Weinberg condition as a fourth allele of the D Q locus.

Effects of tooth-conditioning agents on bond strength of a resin-modified glass-ionomer sealant to enamel.
TL;DR: The adhesion of a resin-modified glass-ionomer sealant to bovine enamel was significantly improved by the use of tooth-conditioning agents and treatment of an enamel surface with 20% polyacrylic acid results in good shear both strength and relatively small degree of enamel erosion.

A Study on Class II Antigens Involved in the T Cell Prorliferative Responses to PPD Using Cross-Reacting Monoclonal Antibodies in Human and Murine System
Kazuhiro Ogasawara,Hiroshi Kojima,Hiroaki Ikeda,N. Ishikawa,Masanori Kasahara,Yuichiro Fukasawa,Natori T,Akemi Wakisaka,Yuko Kikuchi,Miki Aizawa,Kazuya Iwabuchi,M. Ogasawara,Masayuki Noguchi,L Geng,K Morikawa,K Onoé +15 more
TL;DR: It was demonstrated that 1E4 significantly inhibited PPD-specific responses of T cells from Ib-bearing mice, and a functional difference exists between humans and mice in the I subregion products involved in the T cell proliferative responses to PPD.

Detection of a novel HLA-DQ specificity. II. Cellular analysis by cytotoxic T-cell clones.
TL;DR: To investigate the D Q system, mouse mAb HU-46 is produced, which defines a novel DQ specificity, and the limitation of antisera made it difficult to define the DQ antigens associated with the Dwl5-DR4 and certain Dw8-DRw8 specificities, which do not belong to any of theDQw 1, w2, and w3 families.

Inhibition of autologous mixed lymphocyte reaction by monoclonal antibodies specific for the beta chain of HLA-DR antigens.
Masanori Kasahara,Hitoshi Ikeda,Kazumasa Ogasawara,N. Ishikawa,T. Okuyama,Yuichiro Fukasawa,Hiroshi Kojima,Hiroshi Kunikane,S. Hawkin,T. Ohhashi,Natori T,A. Wakisaka,Yuko Kikuchi,M. Aizawa +13 more
TL;DR: Results indicate that the inhibition of AMLR is not a unique feature of DR alpha-specific antibodies, and a murine monoclonal antibody HU-4, also specific for the beta chain of DR antigens, strongly inhibited both primary and secondary AMLR.
