Expression of ABH/Lewis-related antigens as prognostic factors in patients with breast cancer.
T. Nakagoe,K Fukushima,Noriaki Itoyanagi,Yasushi Ikuta,Tadayuki Oka,Takeshi Nagayasu,Hiroyoshi Ayabe,S Hara,Hiroshi Ishikawa,H Minami +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the prognostic value of altered blood group factor and Lewis-related carbohydrate antigen expression in breast cancers has not been fully determined, but it was found that expression of sialyl Lex antigen in tumor cells is associated with poor prognosis in patients with breast cancer and must be considered in the design of future therapeutic trials.

Both CD4+ and CD8+ T cell epitopes fused to heat shock cognate protein 70 (hsc70) can function to eradicate tumors.
Shusaku Mizukami,Chiaki Kajiwara,Hiroshi Ishikawa,Ichiro Katayama,Katsuyuki Yui,Heiichiro Udono +5 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that fusion of both CD4+ and CD8+ T cell epitopes to hsc70 enhances tumor immunity beyond the effect of the CD8-T cell epitope alone, and better eradication of MO5 lung metastasis compared to hSc70‐OVA257‐264.

Pre-operative serum levels of sialyl Tn antigen predict liver metastasis and poor prognosis in patients with gastric cancer.
Toru Nakagoe,T Sawai,Takashi Tsuji,Masaaki Jibiki,A. Nanashima,Hiroyuki Yamaguchi,Toru Yasutake,Hiroyoshi Ayabe,Kokichi Arisawa,Hiroshi Ishikawa +9 more
TL;DR: Pre-operative high serum levels of STN predict both liver metastasis and poor prognosis after resection for gastric cancer.

Surgical technique and outcome of gasless video endoscopic transanal rectal tumour excision.
TL;DR: An experience with a modification of TEM, gasless video endoscopic transanal rectal tumour excision (gasless VTEM), which incorporates a standard laparoscopic video camera and requires no carbon dioxide insufflation system.

Gasless, video endoscopic transanal excision for carcinoid and laterally spreading tumors of the rectum.
T. Nakagoe,Hiroshi Ishikawa,T Sawai,Takashi Tsuji,Masaaki Jibiki,A. Nanashima,Hiroyuki Yamaguchi,Toru Yasutake +7 more
TL;DR: Gasless VTEM is a simple, minimally invasive procedure used to treat LST and carcinoid tumors of the rectum, however, resection for the LST group had a high risk of peritoneal entry during operation.
