TL;DR: In this article, a device for detecting combustion conditions in a plurality of combustors in a gas-turbine apparatus which includes the combustors and a gas turbine driven by combustion gas from the combustion gases from the combustor, comprises a pluralityof sensors for measuring concentration of unburnt component in the combustion gas, which is disposed on the downstream side of the gas turbine, a unit for obtaining a distribution pattern of the measured concentration and for investigating the obtained distribution pattern to detect combustion conditions.

TL;DR: In this paper, a two-stage combustion system is used to facilitate the ignition of secondary fuel in a gas turbine provided with a burner utilizing a two stage combustion system, by bleeding compressed air after initiation of combustion of primary fuel upon starting, and by initiating the combustion of secondary air in such a condition that the amount of air flowing into the burner is reduced.
