Idiopathic interstitial pneumonias: diagnostic accuracy of thin-section CT in 129 patients.
T Johkoh,Nestor L. Müller,Yannick Cartier,Peter V. Kavanagh,Thomas E. Hartman,Masanori Akira,Kazuya Ichikado,Masayuki Ando,Hironobu Nakamura +8 more
TL;DR: Except for NIPF, the various subtypes of idiopathic interstitial pneumonias often have a characteristic appearance that allows differentiation at thin-section CT.

Lymphocytic Interstitial Pneumonia: Thin-Section CT Findings in 22 Patients
Takeshi Johkoh,Nestor L. Müller,Heather A. Pickford,Thomas E. Hartman,Kazuya Ichikado,Masanori Akira,Osamu Honda,Hironobu Nakamura +7 more
TL;DR: Lymphocytic interstitial pneumonia is characterized by the presence of ground-glass attenuation, poorly defined centrilobular nodules, and thickening of the interstitium along the lymphatic vessels.

Charged collagen structure mediates the recognition of negatively charged macromolecules by macrophage scavenger receptors
Takefumi Doi,K Higashino,Yukiko Kurihara,Yoh Wada,Toru Miyazaki,Hironobu Nakamura,Seiichi Uesugi,Takeshi Imanishi,Yoshiki Kawabe,H Itakura +9 more
TL;DR: It is proposed that a "charged collagen" structure containing a lysine cluster forms a positively charged groove which specifically interacts with negatively charged ligands.

Anterior mediastinal tumors : Diagnostic accuracy of CT and MRI
Noriyuki Tomiyama,Osamu Honda,Mitsuko Tsubamoto,Atsuo Inoue,Hiromitsu Sumikawa,Keiko Kuriyama,Masahiko Kusumoto,Takeshi Johkoh,Hironobu Nakamura +8 more
TL;DR: CT is equal or superior to MRI in the diagnosis of anterior mediastinal tumors except for thymic cyst, however, in certain circumstances, such as thymi cyst with hemorrhage or inflammation which mimic solid tumor despite low enhancement, MRI may be better in distinguishing anterior mediastsinal tumors.

Superparamagnetic iron oxide-enhanced magnetic resonance images of hepatocellular carcinoma : Correlation with histological grading
Yasuharu Imai,Takamichi Murakami,Shigeyuki Yoshida,Masahiro Nishikawa,Masahiko Ohsawa,Koh Tokunaga,Masaru Murata,Kunitaka Shibata,Shinichiro Zushi,Masanori Kurokawa,Takeshi Yonezawa,Sumio Kawata,Manabu Takamura,Hiroaki Nagano,Masato Sakon,Morito Monden,Kenichi Wakasa,Hironobu Nakamura +17 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that SPIO–enhanced MR imaging reflects Kupffer‐cell numbers in HCCs and dysplastic nodules, and is useful for estimation of histological grading in H CCs, although uncertainties persist in differentiating dysplastics nodules from well‐differentiated HCCS.
