Hidemi Kajimoto,Hisashi Kai,Hiroki Aoki,Hiroki Uchiwa,Yuji Aoki,Suguru Yasuoka,Takahiro Anegawa,Yuji Mishina,Akira Suzuki,Yoshihiro Fukumoto,Tsutomu Imaizumi,Tsutomu Imaizumi +11 more
TL;DR: B MP receptor activation is a mechanism for endothelial dysfunction in addition to vascular osteogenic differentiation in a short-term CKD model, and PTEN may be key in linking BMP receptor activation and endothelium dysfunction in CKD.

Losartan/hydrochlorothiazide combination is safe and effective for morning hypertension in Very-Elderly patients
Hiroki Uchiwa,Hisashi Kai,Yoshiko Iwamoto,Takahiro Anegawa,Hidemi Kajimoto,Kenji Fukuda,Tsutomu Imaizumi,Yoshihiro Fukumoto +7 more
TL;DR: The losartan/HCTZ combination was safe and effective in controlling morning hypertension in Very-Elderly as well as Young/Elderlies patients and combination therapy was also superior to high-dose therapy for lowering morning systolic BP in very-E Elderly patients.

Large Blood Pressure Variability Aggravates Arteriolosclerosis and Cortical Sclerotic Changes in the Kidney in Hypertensive Rats
Yuji Aoki,Hisashi Kai,Hidemi Kajimoto,Hiroshi Kudo,Narimasa Takayama,Suguru Yasuoka,Takahiro Anegawa,Yoshiko Iwamoto,Hiroki Uchiwa,Kenji Fukuda,Masayoshi Kage,Seiya Kato,Yoshihiro Fukumoto,Tsutomu Imaizumi,Tsutomu Imaizumi +14 more
TL;DR: The possibility that ARB is useful for renal protection in patients who have a combination of hypertension and increased BPV is raised, which results in the cortical sclerotic changes in SHRs through a local angII-mediated mechanism.
