Report of an International Atomic Energy Agency's consultants' meeting on fluorine 18: Reactor production and utilization
TL;DR: Nuclear reactor production techniques and synthetic methods of preparing 18F organic radio-pharmaceuticals were reviewed in an IAEA Consultants' Meeting and it was concluded that reactors with neutron thermal fluxes of 1.0 × 1013 cm−2 s−1 can produce sufficient quantities of 18F.

The International Atomic Energy Agency's program on analytical quality control
TL;DR: The International Atomic Energy Agency has been assisting laboratories in Member States in maintaining and improving the reliability, i.e. the quality of analyses of nuclear, industrial, environmental and biological materials, and materials of marine origin this paper.

Alice predictions on the accelerator production of molybdenum-99
TL;DR: Several considerations suggest that accelerator production of 99Mo→99mTc generators is not a practical economic alternative to fission produced 99Mo, and the predicted cross section for protons on 100Mo to yield 99Nb suggests that the (p,2p) reaction channel does not contribute significantly to the thick target yield of 99 Mo.

Excitation functions for the cyclotron production of 99mTc and 99Mo
TL;DR: In this paper, the irradiations were performed on three different cyclotrons with overlapping data points from 6 to 65 MeV, and the optimum energy range for the Mo-100(p,2n)Tc-99m reaction is 22 and 12 MeV with a peak at similar to 17 MeV and maximum cross section of similar to 200 mb.
