TL;DR: Compared with existing methods of structural modelling, the principle of flux minimization appears to be a promising theoretical approach to assess stationary flux rates in metabolic systems in cases where a detailed kinetic model is not yet available.

Identifying MHC Class I Epitopes by Predicting the TAP Transport Efficiency of Epitope Precursors
TL;DR: Evidence is provided that two factors may account for the uncertainty as to which precursors are used in vivo and the coevolution in the C-terminal sequence specificities of TAP and other agents in the pathway, which may vary among the various MHC-I alleles.
