The integrated friction characteristics will cause assembly states of electromechanical actuator abnormal in the factory stage To solve this problem, this paper presents a new method for identifying assembly states of electromechanical actuator based on electrical motor current signal analysis The advantage of this method is that it can be used to evaluate the final performance in the assembly stage of electromechanical actuator A mathematical integrated friction model of electromechanical actuator is established by MATLAB/Simulink, and the integrated friction characteristics are identified based on the motor current analysis method Finally, this paper can identify the assembly state of electromechanical actuator according to the assembly states experience affected by friction characteristics in the practical application and the simulation results of the integrated friction characteristics By on-the-spot testing and practical application, it is proved that this assembly states identification method is effective and can meet the use requirements

Assembly states identification for electromechanical actuator based on motor current signal analysis

In order to enhance the reliability of small power generating units, a strategy of the self-tuning control of nonlinear PID for the digital governor is presented. By analyzing the control system of the diesel engine, the basic control parameters are confirmed. Compared the digital PID with the traditional PID, a novel self-tuning control strategy is proposed, which uses the nonlinear PID algorithm. The principle of the nonlinear PID parameters is proposed, the tables of the detailed data are presented. The hardware platform of this structure is composed of host-computer and servo-controller. Using this system, the response speed could be enhanced. For the better performance of this system, the Smith Prediction is used in the control strategy at the proportional process. At the end of this paper, the experiment results verified that the control strategy is reliable, the nonlinear PID parameters are rational, and the system has better dynamic response.

A Novel Digital Governor for Diesel Engine Based on Nonlinear PID Strategy

The increasing demand for electrification functions on control surfaces of aircraft leads to a new concept of new advancement “more electric aircraft (MEA)”. In the aviation industry, an electromechanical actuator (EMA) is used to maintain the orientation of aircraft, landing gears, and braking systems. As the electrical components such as inverter and BLDC motor are key components in EMA, the designing of these components became a critical issue. To enhance the reliability in actuation system in aircraft, this paper proposes dual redundant power inverter system to run BLDC motor with redundancy management and logic, fault tolerant, and fault diagnosis by using MATLAB/SIMULINK with the results.

This paper presents, an Electro-Mechanical Actuator (EMA) based position control system with redundancy technique is being presented. The servo system is composed of two chains, a prime chain and a redundant chain, which includes the position servo system of the EMA. Only one chain works at a time, probably the main chain operates during normal condition of the system. A new, simpler fault detection and isolation (FDI) technique is being developed, which will be monitoring the prime chain continuously. If any type of fault occurs in the prime chain, the FDI isolates the prime chain from the system and switches to the redundant chain. Thereafter redundant chain will be driving the system. The system model is then simulated using MATLAB/Simulink, with trapezoidal waveforms of backemf. Using the DSP controller chip, TMS320F2812 as a control core, hardware implementation has been carried out.
