Fabrication of Csf/Mg Composites Using Extrusion Directly Following Vacuum Infiltration - Part 2: Forming Process Study
TL;DR: In this paper, a Csf/Mg composites obtained via infiltration of porous short carbon fiber preform by liquid Magnesium was presented. And the results showed that the preform was infiltrated thoroughly by melt magnesium and the fabricated composite had excellent mechanical properties compared with the magnesium alloy.

TL;DR: In this paper, a Mg alloy melting and quantitative pouring device, comprising of pot, pot cover, discharge pipe, and liquid level sensor, is described, where the gate is fixed with a post, the post is connected with a gate lifter through guide post mechanism on the pot cover and the gate separates the pot into melting chamber and quantifying chamber.
