TL;DR: A stacked anaerobic fluidized bed microbial fuel cell achieved peak power density (3440.1 mW/m2) and 96.87% chemical oxygen demand removal at 7.5 mm/s liquid velocity, with series connection mode outperforming parallel mode due to improved mass transfer efficiency and reduced internal resistance.
