Anti-transforming growth factor beta receptor II antibody has therapeutic efficacy against primary tumor growth and metastasis through multieffects on cancer, stroma, and immune cells
Zhaojing Zhong,Kyla Carroll,Desiree Policarpio,Carla Osborn,Michael Gregory,Rajiv Bassi,Xenia Jimenez,Marie Prewett,Gregory W. Liebisch,Kris Persaud,Douglas Burtrum,Su Wang,David Surguladze,Stanley Ng,Heather Griffith,Paul Balderes,Jacqueline Doody,Jonathan D. Schwartz,Hagop Youssoufian,Eric K. Rowinsky,Dale L. Ludwig,Larry Witte,Zhenping Zhu,Yan Wu +23 more
TL;DR: These preclinical data provide a foundation to support using anti–TGFβ RII antibody as a therapeutic agent for TGF β RII–dependent cancer with metastatic capacity.

Generation and characterization of a therapeutic human antibody to melanoma antigen TYRP1.
Dipa Patel,Paul Balderes,Armin Lahiji,Maxine Melchior,Stanley Ng,Rajiv Bassi,Yan Wu,Heather Griffith,Xenia Jimenez,Dale L. Ludwig,Daniel J. Hicklin,Xiaoqiang Kang +11 more
TL;DR: The characterization of a novel fully human anti-TYRP1 MAb (20D7) generated by immunizing HuMAb mice (Medarex) and the antitumor activity of 20D7 are suggested to be a potent therapeutic for the treatment of malignant melanoma.

Lack of detection of agonist activity by antibodies to platelet‐derived growth factor receptor α in a subset of normal and systemic sclerosis patient sera
Nick Loizos,Leah LaRiccia,Jami Weiner,Heather Griffith,Francesco Boin,Laura K. Hummers,Fredrick M. Wigley,Paul Kussie +7 more
TL;DR: Although approximately one-third of sera from scleroderma patients contained detectable autoantibodies to PDGFR, these antibodies were not specific to sclerodma, since they were also detected in a similar percentage of samples from normal subjects.
The Structural Basis for the Function of Two Anti-VEGF Receptor 2 Antibodies
Matthew C. Franklin,Elizabeth Navarro,Yujie Wang,Sheetal Patel,Pinki Singh,Yi Zhang,Kris Persaud,Amtul Bari,Heather Griffith,Leyi Shen,Paul Balderes,Paul Kussie +11 more
TL;DR: The structure of the 1121B Fab fragment in complex with domain 3 of VEGFR2, as well as the structure of a different neutralizing anti-VEGFR2 antibody, 6.64, are determined.
