TL;DR: Investigating the occurrence of new fractures in sandwich vertebra after cement augmentation procedures and evaluating the clinical outcomes after prophylactic vertebral reinforcement applied with resorbable bone cement found that Cobb angle increased and vertebral height lost significantly in the non-prevention group.

TL;DR: Kyphoplasty can rapidly relieve pain and disability, and improve local kyphosis caused by fracture in OVCF patients accompanied by CKD, and provides new evidence that kyPHoplasty may be a safe and effective option for the treatment of OVCFs in patients with CKD.
