Metformin ameliorates the progression of atherosclerosis via suppressing macrophage infiltration and inflammatory responses in rabbits.
Qiangbing Yang,Hongming Yuan,Mao Chen,Jiali Qu,He Wang,Biao Yu,Jiahuan Chen,Shengnan Sun,Xiaochun Tang,Wenzhi Ren +9 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that metformin impeded the progression of atherosclerosis, possibly by suppressing macrophage infiltration and inflammatory responses.

CRISPR/Cas9-mediated knockin of human factor IX into swine factor IX locus effectively alleviates bleeding in hemophilia B pigs
Jiahuan Chen,Beiying An,Biao Yu,Xiaohuan Peng,Hongming Yuan,Qiangbing Yang,Xue Chen,Tingting Yu,Lingyu Wang,Xinwei Zhang,He Wang,Xiaodong Zou,Daxin Pang,Hongsheng Ouyang,Xiaochun Tang +14 more
TL;DR: A porcine model of hemophilia B is generated using a combination of CRISPR/Cas9 and somatic cell nuclear transfer and provides a possibility for the permanent correction ofhemophilia in the future by genome editing in situ.
Crystal Structure, Synthesis and Luminescence Sensing of a Zn(II) Coordination Polymer with 2,5-Dihydroxy-1,4-Terephthalic Acid and 2,2′-Bipyridine as Ligands
Linan Dun,Baosheng Zhang,Jiajun Wang,He Wang,Xue Chen,Chuanbi Li +5 more
- 03 Dec 2020
TL;DR: In this article, a new coordination polymer was synthesized under hydrothermal conditions, namely [Zn(Bpy)(DHTA)0.5]n (DHTA = 2,5-dihydroxy-1,4-terephthalic acid tetra-anion, Bpy = 2.2'-bipyridine).

Abnormality of intestinal cholesterol absorption in ApcMin/+ mice with colon cancer cachexia.
Biao Yu,Xiaohuan Peng,Lingyu Wang,Anbei Wang,Yan-Yan Su,Jiahuan Chen,Xinwei Zhang,Dazhong Zhao,He Wang,Daxin Pang,Hongsheng Ouyang,Xiaochun Tang,Mingjun Zhang +12 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that the intestine plays an essential role in cholesterol uptake and that bile acid metabolism seems to cause a decrease in intestinal cholesterol uptake in ApcMin/+ mice.

Electronically Excited Complex Formation in Magnesium Cluster-Halogen Atom Reactions.
TL;DR: In this paper , a near ultraviolet transition of Mg2F has been observed in emission from the reaction between magnesium clusters, most likely Mg3, and fluorine atoms, assuming that the upper state is quenched to its lowest vibrational levels.
