Investigating the vapour transport phenomena inside the cathode gas diffusion layer media by controlling local temperature gradient inside an operating proton exchange membrane fuel cell
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of temperature gradient inside PEMFC was investigated by controlling it externally with a fine (testing diameter about 30 μ m) and thin (thickness about 6 μ m).

- 03 Jul 2019
TL;DR: In this article, X-ray computed tomography (CT) was used to visualize inside the cathode gas diffusion layer (GDL) and thin film thermocouple (TFTC) was fabricated by using micro electro mechanical system (MEMS) technology.

(Digital Presentation) Lifetime Prediction of SiC Power Module By Using Time-Series Analysis of Acoustic Emission during Power Cycling Test
Zheng Zhang,Hayate Sato,Yasuko Matsubar,Aiji Suetake,Naoki Wakasugi,Chuantong Chen,Yasushi Sakurai,Katsuaki Suganuma +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , Nair et al. combined acoustic emission (AE) based condition monitoring and a deep learning model to monitor and predict the failure of a power module as shown in Figure 1[3] and integrally analyzed and summarized the patterns from the time-series data obtained during power cycle tests of power modules and predicts the failures.
