Neuroprotective Effect of Resveratrol on Acute Brain Ischemia Reperfusion Injury by Measuring Annexin V, p53, Bcl-2 Levels in Rats
Ceren Kizmazoglu,Hasan Emre Aydin,Ismail Ertan Sevin,Orhan Kalemci,Nurullah Yuceer,Metin Ant Atasoy +5 more
TL;DR: In the acute period, Annexin V levels misleading us because the apoptotic cell counts could not reach a certain level, so apoptosis is higher compared to other groups, and should support the results with bcl-2 and p53.
IDH1 mutations is prognostic marker for primary glioblastoma multiforme but MGMT hypermethylation is not prognostic for primary glioblastoma multiforme.
Rasime Kalkan,Rasime Kalkan,Emine Ikbal Atli,Emine Ikbal Atli,Muhsin Özdemir,Evrim Çiftçi,Hasan Emre Aydin,Sevilhan Artan,Ali Arslantas +8 more
TL;DR: This study is the first study to investigate the IDH1 mutation status and MGMT methylation in primary GBMs in Turkish population and confirmed IDH 1 mutation as a genetic marker for also primaryGBMs.

Comparison of Biomechanical Properties of Dura Mater Substitutes and Cranial Human Dura Mater : An In Vitro Study
Ceren Kizmazoglu,Hasan Emre Aydin,Ismail Kaya,Murat Atar,Buğra Hüsemoğlu,Orhan Kalemci,Gulden Sozer,Hasan Havitcioglu +7 more
TL;DR: This biomechanical study contributed to the future development of artificial dura mater substitutes with biomechanicals properties similar to those of human dURA mater to optimize biomimetic materials.
Neuroprotective Effect of Genistein in Peripheral Nerve Injury.
Zuhtu Ozbek,Hasan Emre Aydin,Atacan Emre Kocman,Emre Özkara,Erhan Sahin,Ezgi Bektur,Murat Vural,A. Aydan Köse,Ali Arslantas,Cengiz Bayçu +9 more
TL;DR: Genistein and gabapentin exhibit positive effects on histopathology, inflammation, and clinical findings of peripheral nerve injury.
Biomechanical Properties of the Cranial Dura Mater with Puncture Defects : An In Vitro Study.
Hasan Emre Aydin,Ceren Kizmazoglu,Ismail Kaya,Buğra Hüsemoğlu,Gulden Sozer,Hasan Havitcioglu,Ali Arslantas +6 more
TL;DR: A single, two or more punctures of the dura mater using a 20-gauge Quincke needle did not affect cranial dura tensile strength, and may contribute to the future development of artificial dURA mater substitutes and medical needles that have a lower negative impact on the biomechanical properties of dure mater.
