Distribution of disulfide bonds in the two-disulfide intermediates in the regeneration of bovine pancreatic ribonuclease A: further insights into the folding process.
TL;DR: Thermodynamic arguments suggest that the absence of such specific long-range interactions in the two-disulfide species may elevate the concentration of kinetically important three- Disulfide intermediates and thereby increase the folding rate.

Anti-cooperative interactions in single-strand oligomers of deoxyriboadenylic acid.
TL;DR: A physical rationale is presented for the use of a repulsive next‐nearest‐neighbor term in this theory for the deoxyribo oligomers and various kinds of distribution functions are calculated and plotted graphically for this theoretical model.

A Raman spectroscopic investigation of the disulfide conformation in oxytocin and lysine vasopressin.
TL;DR: It is shown that the circular dichroism spectra indicate the presence of more than one conformation for the disulfide unit, in agreement with the Raman results.
