Determination of the Potentials of Mean Force for Rotation about Cα−Cα Virtual Bonds in Polypeptides from the ab Initio Energy Surfaces of Terminally Blocked Glycine, Alanine, and Proline†
TL;DR: The diabatic energy surfaces of terminally-blocked amino-acid residues (modeling the bulk of backbone-local interaction patterns in proteins) are studied.

Agreement with the disulfide stretching frequency-conformation correlation of Sugeta, Go, and Miyazawa
H E Van Wart,Harold A. Scheraga +1 more
TL;DR: This work has confirmed that dithioglycolic acid can crystallize in two different forms, one with trans and the other with gauche conformations about both C-S bonds, and that these have S-S stretching bands at 536 and 510 cm-1, respectively.

Comparison of structures of various human fibrinogens and a derivative thereof by a study of the kinetics of release of fibrinopeptides.
TL;DR: Results are in agreement with an earlier conclusion that the A alpha and B beta chains behave independently in their competition for thrombin; i.e., the hydrolyzable Arg-Gly bonds of the AAlpha and B Beta chains are both accessible to throm bin.
