A set of Macintosh computer programs for the design and analysis of synthetic genes.
TL;DR: A new algorithm for finding restriction sites by translating the restriction endonuclease target sequence in all three reading frames and then searching the given peptide or protein amino acid sequence with these short restriction enzyme peptide sequences is described.

Identification of formation of initial native structure in onconase from an unfolded state.
TL;DR: Six hydrogen-bonding residues were identified as being involved in the earliest detectable nativelike structure before complete formation of des-[30-75] and are further stabilized later in the formation of this intermediate through S-S/SH interchange.

Influence of temperature on the helix sense of several polyamino acids
TL;DR: It is found that the preferred sense of several polyamino acid helices changes from right‐ to left‐handed as the temperature is increased, which accounts for recent experimental observations of changes in helix sense with temperature.

Assessing the One-Bond Cα-H Spin-Spin Coupling Constants in Proteins: Pros and Cons of Different Approaches.
TL;DR: Three different approaches for the computation of the one-bond spin-spin coupling constants (SSCC) 1J CαH in proteins are explored: DFT calculation, Karplus-like equation and Gaussian Process regression.
