Unknown System Dynamics Estimator for Nonlinear Uncertain Systems
TL;DR: This paper presents an alternative unknown system dynamics estimator (USDE) with lowpass filter operations is presented based on an invariant manifold method, in which the function is the same as the wellknown disturbance observer (DOB) and extended state observer (ESO).

Design and experimental validation of a linear piezoelectric micromotor for dual-slider positioning
TL;DR: In this article, a linear piezoelectric micromotor for dual-slider positioning by a single PZT is proposed, where a small steel cuboid can be clamped and released by an electromagnet base.

- 22 Apr 2015
TL;DR: This study has developed an improved feature selection method for lower-limb movement pattern classification based on the regularized common spatial pattern analysis (R-CSP) method and statistical dependency, which achieved the best average accuracy for single trial classification of left and right lower- Limb movement.

Enhanced parameter estimation in adaptive control via online historical data
TL;DR: A novel OHD-driven parameter estimation scheme that exploits only partial OHD is presented to improve parameter convergence and is incorporated with direct adaptive control to construct a composite learning control strategy.

- 08 Jun 2013
TL;DR: A fast and robust method to extract the respiratory motion of the liver from an intra-operative 2D ultrasound image sequence and presents a novel adaptive search strategy that makes full use of the inter-frame dependency of the image sequence.
