Dysfunction of the energy sensor NFE2L1 triggers uncontrollable AMPK signaling and glucose metabolism reprogramming
Lu Qiu,Qiufang Yang,Wenshan Zhao,Yadi Xing,Peng Li,Xiaowen Zhou,Haoming Ning,Ranran Shi,Shan-Shan Gou,Yalan Chen,Wenjie Zhai,Yahong Wu,Guodong Li,Zhenzhen Chen,Yonggang Ren,Yanfeng Gao,Yiguo Zhang,Yuanming Qi +17 more
TL;DR: The NFE2L1/AMPK signaling pathway delineates the mechanism underlying the Nrf1-related metabolic diseases and highlight the crosstalk between redox signaling and metabolism homeostasis as discussed by the authors .
Extracellular vesicle IL-32 promotes the M2 macrophage polarization and metastasis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma via FAK/STAT3 pathway
Yixuan Sun,Yuzhen Qian,Chunxia Chen,Hongfei Wang,Xiuman Zhou,Wenjie Zhai,Lu Qiu,Xiaowen Zhou,Haoming Ning,Yumiao Zhao,Chao Shi,Lu Han,Yuanming Qi,Yahong Wu,Yanfeng Gao +14 more
TL;DR: In this article , an extracellular vesicle IL-32 (EV-IL-32) derived from esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) cells was found to promote the polarization of M2 macrophages via FAK-STAT3 pathway.
The scaffold protein AXIN1: gene ontology, signal network, and physiological function
Lu Qiu,Yixuan Sun,Haoming Ning,Guanyu Chen,Wenshan Zhao,Yanfeng Gao +5 more
- 30 Jan 2024
TL;DR: AXIN1, a scaffold protein, regulates diverse signaling pathways, including WNT/β-catenin, Hippo, and TGFβ, influencing developmental biology, metabolic homeostasis, and cellular stress responses, making it a candidate for targeted intervention in degenerative pathologies and cancer.
