Embracing Uncertainty: Decoupling and De-bias for Robust Temporal Grounding
Hao Zhou,Chongyang Zhang,Yan Luo,Yanjun Chen,Chuanping Hu +4 more
- 01 Jun 2021
TL;DR: The authors disentangle each query into a relation feature and a modified feature, which is mainly based on skeleton-like words (including nouns and verbs) to extract basic and consistent information in the presence of query uncertainty.
Embracing Uncertainty: Decoupling and De-bias for Robust Temporal Grounding
Hao Zhou,Chongyang Zhang,Yan Luo,Yanjun Chen,Chuanbo Hu +4 more
- 31 Mar 2021
TL;DR: This work proposes a novel DeNet (Decoupling and Debias) to embrace human uncertainty, and proposes a de-bias mechanism to generate diverse predictions, aim to alleviate the bias caused by single-style annotations in the presence of label uncertainty.

Where, What, Whether: Multi-Modal Learning Meets Pedestrian Detection
Yan Luo,Chongyang Zhang,Muming Zhao,Hao Zhou,Jun Sun +4 more
- 14 Jun 2020
TL;DR: W^3Net is proposed, which attempts to address above challenges by decomposing the pedestrian detection task into Where, What and Whether problem directing against pedestrian localization, scale prediction and classification correspondingly.
Weakly Supervised Crowd-Wise Attention For Robust Crowd Counting
Xiyu Kong,Muming Zhao,Hao Zhou,Chongyang Zhang +3 more
- 04 May 2020
TL;DR: Evaluation of the widely used World Expo’ 10 dataset shows that the proposed robust crowd counting method can achieve state-of-the-art performance on both accuracy and robustness.

Visual Relationship Detection with Relative Location Mining
TL;DR: Zhang et al. as discussed by the authors proposed a novel visual relationship detection framework by deeply mining and utilizing relative location of object-pair in every stage of the procedure, and one Gated Graph Neural Network(GGNN) is introduced to mine and measure the relevance of predicates using relative location.
