Refractory organics removal in PMS and H2O2/PMS oxidation system activated by biochar/nZVI/MoS2 composite: Synthesis, performance, mechanism and dosing methods
TL;DR: A biochar composite loaded with nZVI particles and MoS2 nanosheets (nZVI/MoS2-BC) was prepared by calcination and hydrothermal methods, and could activate peroxymonosulfate (PMS) more efficiently to produce reactive oxygen species (ROSs) for refractory organics degradation as mentioned in this paper .

Host plants alter their volatiles to help a solitary egg parasitoid distinguish habitats with parasitized hosts from those without.
Cheng-Zhe Li,Hao Sun,Qing Gao,Fang-Yuan Bian,Ali Noman,Ali Noman,Wen-Han Xiao,Guoxin Zhou,Yonggen Lou +8 more
TL;DR: Results suggest that host plants can fine-tune their volatiles to help egg parasitoids distinguish host habitats with parasitized hosts from those without.

Influence of lignin on coal gangue pyrolysis and gas emission based on multi- lump parallel reaction model and principal component analysis
Haobo Bi,Zhanshi Ni,Junjian Tian,Chun-hui Jiang,Hao Sun,Qizhao Lin +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the effects of lignin (LIG) on coal gangue (CG) pyrolysis characteristics, gas emissions, and multi-lump parallel reaction modeling are studied.

Suppression of a leucine‐rich repeat receptor‐like kinase enhances host plant resistance to a specialist herbivore
TL;DR: It is suggested that OsLRR-RLK2, by regulating the plant's defense-related signaling profile, increases the susceptibility of rice to BPH, and that BPH infestation influences the expression of OsL RR-RLk2, suppressing the resistance of riceto BPH.

Preparation of nitrogen-containing compounds and nitrogen-doped biochar via nitrogen-rich pyrolysis coupled with ammonia source impregnation
Donghua Li,Meihua Fu,Tao Pei,Yi Lu,Can Liu,Xu Lin,Defa Hou,Hao Sun,Cuiping Luo,Zhifeng Zheng,Yunwu Zheng +10 more
TL;DR: In this article , a new strategy for the preparation of both nitrogen-rich bio-oil (high-value N-containing compounds (NCCs)) and N-doped biochar by ammonia impregnation treatment coupled with Zeolite Socony Mobil Five (HZSM-5) via N-enriched pyrolysis was proposed.
