Fluorescence sensor for sequential detection of zinc and phosphate ions.
TL;DR: A new, highly selective turn-on fluorescent chemosensor based on 2-(2'-tosylamidophenyl)thiazole for the detection of zinc and phosphate ions in ethanol showed a high selectivity for zinc compared to other cations and sequentially detected hydrogen pyrophosphate and hydrogen phosphate.

Highly selective fluorescent probe for switch-on Al3+ detection and switch-off F− detection
TL;DR: In this paper, a 2-(2′-hydroxyphenyl)thiazole-4-carboxaldehyde based fluorescent probe was designed and synthesized for sequential detection of Al3+ and F− ions in methanol.

Highly selective fluorescent probe for sequential recognition of copper(II) and iodide ions
TL;DR: In this paper, a new highly selective fluorescent probe based on 2-(2′-aminolphenyl)-4-hydroxymethylthiazole (1) was developed for the detection of copper and iodide ions in ethanol.

Fluorescent probe for sequential recognition of Ga3+ and pyrophosphate anions
TL;DR: In this article, three fluorescent probes, 2-(2′-hydroxyphenyl)-4-chloromethylthiazole (1), 2.5-4-hexamethylthiazoles (3), and 2.2-hexamide (4)-hexamethyltryptophosphate (5)-thiazolate (6), were designed for the sequential recognition of Ga 3+ and pyrophosphate ions in acetonitrile.
